the Solstice pattern collection is out NOW !!!…

Finally after weeks of designing, creating and letting things tested it is time to reveal the Solstice patterns. What started as polishing up an old pattern in 2014 turned out into some whole new and different outcomes. I started designing crochet patterns in 2014 and that’s when i made up one of my first. It was a plaid made out of squares which i called the Dreamchaser square. The pattern is guided by photo instructions and lately i have made a few changes to it. Still it stays a pretty basic pattern and i don’t change much about it as i think it works out fine and i want to keep things the way they are as it is part of my history when it comes to crochet. The pattern is still for sale and you can find it in my Ravelry story or Etsy store. However, now the Solstice collection is published i think you have to read further to see a really nice surprise before you go shopping.

As you can see on the Dreamchaser square, the center is looking very similar to the new designs. I took the Dreamchaser pattern as a basic to create some new stuff and i made slight changes to all the patterns so none of the three are the same or has the same way of making them. I started crocheting the center part with some slight changes for the Solstice doily.

From that point on i came up with the idea of using the Solstice nature process as an inspiration for this project. The next part on the doily made me do it over for about 5 times as i wanted very hard and difficult stitches and rounds in it…..but nothing turned out the way i wanted it to look. So i wiped every idea of the designing table and came up with a more easy but suiting idea. Making rays of sunlight around the center part.

From that moment the magic started to happen and things were getting like i had the idea in my mind. As i did not want the Solstice pattern too big i decided i had to add some round to it but not that much. So i came up with a really nice repeat of the center part and some amazing end rounds that give the solstice theme so much credits. It took me over a week to create this whole pattern which is really fast ! The end result was amazing !

But….when the Solstice doily was tested i had some time left to make an extra addition to this collection so far. I made up a smaller square version of the new Solstice pattern. Perfect to use in so many ways and it has the same look with some small changes in it.

As i really want to see what people come up with using this square in the future i took the picture and used it with some software to see how it would turn out combined.

And then here’s a nice offer for anyone who likes to purchase all of these patterns. As i think all three patterns belong together as a collection, i thought it would be nice to provide an extra discount if you wanted the whole collection in your library of crochet patterns. So here’s the deal :

If you buy the Solstice pattern and the Solstice square pattern….you’ll get the Dreamchaser square pattern for free with it.

How does it work ?

When you buy patterns in my Etsy store, all patterns are for sale individually. But there is also a listing that is called the Solstice collection. In this listing the discount is already taken in the price you pay and you will find all three patterns in it to download after the purchase.

In my Ravelry shop  it’s a different way of getting this done. On Raverly you’ll find all three patterns individually. Just put all three patterns to your shopping cart and use the coupon code : Solstice  when you’re gonna check out and purchase them. In that way the discount will be automatically be validated.

This discount will stay up to the end of this year.

If you already purchased the Dreamchaser square pattern in the past but want to use this discount as well, don’t worry, as it was only for sale on Ravelry and you own the pattern already, you earlier purchase will be counted in when buying patterns.

*************************************************************************************

And last….when you purchase one of all these new patterns, a thank you in advance ! So much work, time and effort is put in all of these and I’m happy to see what you will make with them. When posting your progress or finished projects please use the #solsticecrochetpattern so all the results will be to see under one big hashtag on social media. And please add your projects to the Ravelry pattern pages.

And one last note, please be aware the patterns are for personal use only. Copying, sharing or taking advantage of a purchased pattern is illegal and steps will be taken by the designer if this happens.

    1. Haha you don’t have too. Each crochet designer has it’s own unique designs and style and sometimes they connect. Johanna is for me such an amazing talent and i really can’t compare to her. So all credits to her as well.
